Portrait paintings in oil, medium size (11 x 14"), on cradled wood panels, can be hung as they are, or framed. Oil portraits start at $1250, and take three to six months to complete, once the photo references are ready and the composition is finalized. When possible, I like to make drawing and color studies while the portrait subject relaxes with a book or conversation with a friend (one session).
