Carly, who invited me to collaborate with her on this print series, was there when Caleb opened the prints we created and framed as a gift. I think he said, "Holy smokes!" ;)

Here's what Caleb Chapman, of Colony House, shared on Instagram:
As a songwriter and someone who comes from a long line of story tellers it is a dream come true to have the opportunity to create stories of my own and then have an audience to share them with. In regards to our latest album, Leave What’s Lost Behind, the story centers around two characters, Mr. Porter and The Runaway. On any given day I can relate and find pieces of myself in either one of these people... on the good days I got a little more Porter in me. On the uncertain days The Runaway is the one staring back at me in the mirror.

The plot line, however, was never really meant to have a beginning and end. It was more of a story board with a lot of space left open for whoever would be listening to fill in the blank with their own thoughts and ideas.
These incredible portraits were created by @monica_dix_artist. They are her beautiful translation of an interaction between two people both looking for their place in this world, both looking for a little bit of light.
